Thank you for visiting the Pediatric Surgical Oncology Research Collaborative (PSORC) donation page.
Any gift advances our mission to improve the surgical outcomes of children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer. With your support, PSORC will be able to continue conducting research critical to the surgical care of children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer.
In the United States, more than 500,000 children and adolescents are currently diagnosed with cancer, and more than 2.1 million adolescent and young adults are cancer survivors. While childhood cancer research is primarily focused on improving chemotherapy regimens, cancer treatment is multimodal, and surgery plays a very important role in the treatment and survival of patients diagnosed with malignant solid tumors.
The Pediatric Surgical Oncology Research Collaborative (PSORC) is a network of 60 institutions in North America. PSORC has a critical need for infrastructure support to continue facilitating projects that answer key questions related to the surgical care of children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer. PSORC has a proven record in generating some of the largest data sets of childhood cancers and answering surgical questions with data that are not otherwise possible to obtain through single-institution studies or through other childhood cancer research networks. PSORC is uniquely positioned to conduct surgical and patient-centered outcomes research, and PSORC projects have the potential to directly inform treatment guidelines and clinical trial development.
Note: PSORC is housed at Cincinnati Children's, and all gifts currently go through the Cincinnati Children's website. Please follow the donate button to ensure that your gift is directly allocated to PSORC.
