Frequently asked questions
Can I designate my gift?
Yes! You can designate your gift to your area of passion at the health system. You can select one of the offered designations or enter another option.
I gave last year—do I need to re-enroll?
If you set up a recurring payroll deduction, your gift will continue automatically unless you make changes. If you gave a one-time gift, you’ll need to re-enroll this year.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes, gifts made toward the health system are tax-deductible.
Is the Employee Giving Campaign different from the One Community Campaign?
The ONE Community Campaign takes place in October each year and the Employee Giving Campaign takes place in December. Both offer our employees a great opportunity to make an annual gift to Cincinnati Children’s. Whether you choose to support one of our community health initiatives, the program or division that means the most to you, or our most pressing needs, your donation makes a difference!
Can I give to both campaigns?
Yes. You can give to both campaigns. Any gift you make to Cincinnati Children’s during the fiscal year—whether to Cincinnati Walks for Kids, Kaleidoscope, Giving Hope, Gift-in-Kind, or ONE Community—will count toward your recognition as an employee donor. Gifts only to American Heart Association, Arts Wave or United Way are not recognized as employee giving to the hospital.
How much do I need to give?
Participation rates are most important, so any gift amount counts.
What is the goal of the campaign?
We are working towards 100% employee participation.
What happened to the “All for One” Campaign name?
The “All for One” name has been retired. Moving forward, we’re simply calling it the Employee Giving Campaign to better reflect its purpose and align with other giving initiatives.
