Welcome to our Buckle Up for Life Giving Hope page!
Giving Hope, Cincinnati Children's community philanthropy program, is a great way to get involved and really make a difference for sick and injured kids. As a nonprofit hospital and medical center, Cincinnati Children's depends largely on support from the community.

Did you know that motor vehicle crashes are one of the leading causes of injury and death among children in the United States? Also, did you know that car seats can reduce the risk of injury and death by up to 71 percent? Sadly, research shows that 1 in 3 children ride unrestrained. Many of these children are of families with low socioeconomic backgrounds.

Buckle Up for Life is a national child passenger safety education program, created by Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Toyota to empower all families to buckle up and go safely. Our goal is to make every car ride safe for every child by educating caregivers around the country about safe travels - one family, one car seat, one lesson at a time.

With your help, Buckle Up for Life can make a difference by providing free car seats and child passenger safety education to low-income families across the country.

For every $56 collected, Buckle Up for Life will purchase and supply a free car seat to a child in need, provide the caregiver with education on correct use of the car seat, and make sure it is installed properly.

We know that when it comes to saving lives, every dollar counts. This is why 100% of all donations will be used to buy car seats.

Thank you! Together, we will change the outcome!
